That's what I don't get about the second amendment idiots. Defending themselves against the government? Nope, a couple of missiles launched from an unmanned aircraft they cannot see or hear and they'll be dead. Perhaps it meant something 100 years ago, but these days they haven't a cat in hell's chance.

One of the more interesting things about election night in NYC is that most bars will have the news stations on with full commentary, so you can sit in a bar and following the whole thing.

As both Trump and Clinton live in NYC, they are starting to close off the areas around their campaign HQ's for traffic now. Getting home from work tomorrow is going to be a nightmare.

Watched the CH4 news coverage of the US election, the level of bias is astounding.
They should announce beforehand that they fucking hate Trump and republicans.
They interviewed a Washington Post journalist, the paper that makes the Guardian look like Stormfront.
Jon Snow just ended up in a pub discussion with him about how Trump would end the world, then some other anti Trump intellectual who was spitting feathers on how bad a win would be...and that was it..back to the studio.

Not to mention that there are SO many near fully functioning (that just needs slight modifications) TANKS that these nutjobs own. Sure most of them are from WW2 but a tank is still a tank. Remember that idiot 10 or so years ago that decided to take out his Sherman out on the US highways ramming everything in his way? It literally took a police officer to jump up ON TOP of the Sherman and shoot him through the driver viewport because the military were not allowed to help. And the only reason that cop managed that were because the tank got stuck.

Well it's not that simple. There are two laws in USA that makes sending the military against American citizens hard. The Insurrection Act and the Posse Comitatus Act are designed to tightly restrict using the military against the American people.

So basically it needs to get really REALLY fucking bad before the National Guard can be called in. And even if it is there's no guarantee that all of them will comply either.

erm...didn't the national guard get deployed in Ferguson after a bit of rioting? I am fairly sure if the rioters fought back properly they would get blown away fairly swiftly.
