The other candidates are pretty fucking stupid tbh. Two of them have deeply flawed policy ideas that don't stand up to economic or legal scrutiny, but they can say stuff that sounds good on paper because they'll never, ever have to deliver it.

A large part of the Clinton vote has to be "she's not Trump". I don't think many people are voting for her for positive reasons. So its not really stupidity rather than grudging necessity.

and I pose the question to you all again (because it's not been answered) how many Presidents in the past have done what Hillary has and simply got away with it? I mean in the modern day where technology isn't evidently safe because it can get hacked and such, it's obvious that stuff like this is going to come out, regardless who is running, they're all very ambitious people that aren't doing it for free.

I think the future political class will come directly out of convents dedicated to each respective party in order for them to have a completely clear record so they don't lose the 'negative elections' even if they just stand there at their speeches and just drone on.
