Last night on the BBC a reporter is doing a piece on the council wanting to remove professional beggarsfor the Royal wedding.
He read the council report out loud in obvious disbelief..then went on to find 3 women who said it wasnt their choice to be on the streets and used this ludicrously cherry picked example to say that it was quite clearly not true that any homeless are professional beggars.
This was a supposedly unbiased reporting from the BBC which it stands by and then completely ignores.
ITV news has become Fox news, the Blair interview last night could have been from a Tory activist who just sat there and attacked everything Blair said like he felt it was his job to represent the country in unabashed distain.
They went back to the studio to carry on ridiculing him.
WTF...it has become like watching a news parody on the Simpsons thesedays.

I would be interested who you would shape the English language to say homelessness is up, without being biased. Either it is up, or it isn't.

No..the question was that many of the homeless people are actually professional beggars...there is a lot of it about, but asking three people who say they are not is hardly evidence that the claim is untrue.
In fact its farcical and it doesnt even need to be said that it has no place in responsible reporting.
