Only in relation to the other charges. It's not like a treason charge.

This is just the beginning. They want him in and singing. They don't even mention that some of the properties that were being sold to launder money were in Trump Tower.

The Papadopolous plea was far more damaging at this stage. He's pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about what contacts the campaign had with Russia.

There's a whole heap of stuff that will follow from this. Shell companies and property transactions is how Trump Org is rumoured to have been laundering Russian money for years. That and Trump Casinos. Don Jr and Kushner have told a pack of lies all along about their contact and relationships with Russians.

The popcorn is out tonight.

Yes. It's all in the released docs. As soon as he had an idea the FBI were interested he deleted his account and destroyed his phone. Not a good look.

The fact that he has pleaded guilty only to lying to the FBI is very strong indicator that he is now co-operating. He's probably been wearing a wire on and off since July.

Name a th8ng the republicans have done...you cant, the entire press spends it entire time bigging up conspiracy and scandals.
There is zero news available on the actual.policies implemented...Trump has turned the whole political landscape into gossip over a hedge.
Its spread over here now, Brexit coverage is based on soundbites and scandal, I think this is the second age of man.
Kardashians, Trump, Farage, Putin.
The Indy..just read the headline articles, its like they are revelling in doom.

Do you reckon there's enough thick people (like Job) in America, so when Ameircas biggest court says 'yeah there's evidence here of stuff very illegal' Trump will turn around and say 'omg fake courts' and everyone will agree with him?

Actually, there might well be.

Anyway, I quite like the random fullstops and how it flows like a thought, rather than written language. You can just imagine him typing furiously on his phone, in his van, condensationed windows, Liverpool docks...raging.

Well the prize is mostly a joke now anyway so why the hell not. Haven't been many the last years that truly deserved it. Only one recent i can think of would be Malala Yousafzai.. Most others just seems to be political bullshit...

Looks like that's it for House of Cards. They should've finished it a couple of seasons ago but Spacey has been pretty much the only thing good thing about it since. Without him they surely won't try and force another season out.

Spacey has basically been the face of the show since day 1, they can't just put someone else in in his place. Of course he "isn't the only man who can act" but he's a superb actor who made the role his own. I think they'd kill Underwood off and have the cold open of season 6 being his funeral (or something).

Anyway, the last season was a bit crap, I imagine if they hadn't already started production on season 6 before the accusations started flying they'd have knocked it on the head more permanently instead of just "suspending" production.

(I don't know why I put this in the US elections thread either)
