or maybe the guy really doesn't know what to do?

you probs need to change ur UI, can do that here daocmods

you'll need to create an account, easy and doesn't cost anything, goto downloads section and then the Themes section, with the good UI's intructions come as standard.

follow the instructions that come with the UI as previous poster said ?

Or uncompress it into the custom folder in your toa distribution.

BTW try the helpless thing .. not the cba to do any work for myself thing .. its more endearing and more likely to get help

Hey, remember, there are no little questions, just stupid people.

hate people who cant even try look for themself

I know what you mean - I just switch off when people use the lazy abreviations of

u, ur, wot, coz, no (instead of know)

If people cant spend the time to write a question properly - I cant be bothered to spare the time to read it.

Amen, or as Dogbert the slightly sarcastic dog puts it: "of course there are stupid questions, what kind of questions do you think stupid people ask? Do you think they become smart just as they ask the question, then go back to being stupid?" :p

This must be the most lazy/helpless man I have ever met, lol. Can't search for info, and when given info, can't find out what to do with it!

Ahh, you should really read this:

http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

(Ignore the 'hacker' references)

Here are a few relevant extracts:

---------------------------------------

Before asking a technical question by email, or in a newsgroup, or on a website chat board, do the following:

Try to find an answer by searching the Web.

Try to find an answer by reading the manual.

Try to find an answer by reading a FAQ.

Try to find an answer by inspection or experimentation.

Try to find an answer by asking a skilled friend.

---------------------------------------

Also:

---------------------------------------

Don't post homework questions
Hackers are good at spotting homework questions; most of us have done them ourselves. Those questions are for you to work out, so that you will learn from the experience. It is OK to ask for hints, but not for entire solutions.

---------------------------------------

And:

---------------------------------------

Dealing with rudeness
Much of what looks like rudeness in hacker circles is not intended to give offence. Rather, it's the product of the direct, cut-through-the-bullshit communications style that is natural to people who are more concerned about solving problems than making others feel warm and fuzzy.

---------------------------------------

Finally:

---------------------------------------

Not Reacting Like A Loser
Odds are you'll screw up a few times on hacker community forums — in ways detailed in this article, or similar. And you'll be told exactly how you screwed up, possibly with colourful asides. In public.

When this happens, the worst thing you can do is whine about the experience, claim to have been verbally assaulted, demand apologies, scream, hold your breath, threaten lawsuits, complain to people's employers, leave the toilet seat up, etc.

---------------------------------------

Hope that helps.
