Well actually....

I can't be bothered getting into this argument again, but at the end of day, v2.0 just got to together, then 10minutes later started the RA2 cup and got to the final. This was with a team who were:

Exor - never played Ra2, nor Q2 very often
Stu, Durzel, Sean - Hadn't played for quite a while
Placid, Fuze - DM players but not RA2
Me - Just coming back online after 9 months away

So all-in-all, not bad. If we'd stuck at it, each person religously playing 3-4hrs a day, we would easily be able to take SPKs. Or anyone else for that matter.

Everyone loses games, but what you tend to conveniently forget is that I'm a self proclaimed shit RA2 player. I admit it, I am shit at RA2, ask anyone who was in V2.0, I was the worst player!

Still managed to get to a final though. Funny that.

It brings a warm squishy glow to my heart knowing that we threw a team together at the last minute, entered a competition with clans that took RA2 seriously, who had been playing for ages together, and totally owned them all the way to the final, even while spending half of our server time fucking around. Then decided it would be funny to ruin the entire competition, and get up everyones noses, by not even bothering to play the final. Genius, sheer and utter genius, why? Because you dribbling morons are to this day, STILL going on about it. We hurt you people, we hurt you alot, and we know it.

What adds a, fluffy, textured layer of icing to the cake is this:

Yes, that's right! We don't care about RA2, we don't care about winning or losing, we don't care about the people involved in the RA2 scene, we don't care about the clans, you are so utterly insignificant to us - our whole RA2 existence was only there to have a laugh, take the piss, and to annoy. And if we could win while doing this, all the better.

Now, take a look at the way you responded. You played right in to our hands, and are still doing so. People seem to be forgetting that ra2, or any on-line game, should all be about fun, skill comes into it but it should be primarily about enjoying yourself. Like exor said they don't give a shit, so why bother arguing in the face of such indifference? RA2 isn't what it used to be but it doesn't mean those who still play can't have a laugh, there are still generally sound people out there who play and all the skill in the world doesn't make up for a shit attitude.
