I think the dispute is more to do with management following workers around to see what they're up to. I don't have anything against that, especially seeing as it sounds like they had a good reason.

They do these days, but I remember travelling on it during the first few years of operation where there was no staff onboard most trains.Originally posted by hoggsboss
i believe that all DLR trains have a member of staff on board who can if needed override the controls and drive the train manually.
