Megabus is very cheap, but I didn't find the running times to be much cop. Also the bus I travelled on was in need of some repairs, the seats were falling apart. You also have the issue of the people you are travelling with, low price = bargain basement customers.

I usually travel to Victoria as there is a main land railway station there, an underground station and a coach station. Not that I like London very much, tis a right shithole as others have said, but sometimes needs must.

I use megabus to do London - Oxford, they run every 30 minutes, had wifi and power points on board. Nice modern coaches.

Megabus basically buy seats on other companies buses, so it depends which coach company does that route.

It would be if it was true Newcastle (I know I am biased) is a fucking superb city. London was good the one time I went down, but the place was so up it's own arse it put me off wanting to go back.

do what soze said and get a travel card, I doubt you'll need more than zones 1-4, you can get everywhere from any of the major train stations.

my dad is coming to visit me in a few weeks so we will be going there for the day.

at some other time though, it might be cool to get a few of us scum bags down there for a piss up. ive been out with sharma and dukat, i need a few more celebs on the list.

Newcastle is awesome. At uni at Northumbra doing a law conversion course and im loving it here! Although havent had a chance for a proper night out yet as I am unfortunately stuck in West Monkseaton so last metro home is 11:30ish
