I made a poem for all those who died on Sept.11,2001.
I don't have words to ease the pain,
Only hope that they didn't die in vain.
So many women, so many men,
So many little children, who'll never smile again.
So many fireman, so many E.M.T.'s,
So many cops who can't again hug their families.
They all showed such bravery, and couldn't have known,
That in trying to save lives, it would cost them their own.
So many passengers, only taking a flight,
The day began like any other day in their lives.
But cowards took over, with pure evil intertwined,
It turned out to be their last day, the end of their time.
How can this happen to all those innocent beings?
How can others take lives as if it has no meaning?
How can we deal with what we now know to be true?
How do we stop this from happening again...to me or maybe you?
Punishment must be swift, and severe to the fullest,
American lives are valuable and terrorists must know this.
We will not stand for this in our nation,
We do not handle things, with such barbaric condemnation.
This cannot go unpunished, of this there's no doubt,
Rid the Earth of these demons and let God sort them out.
Needlessly we've lost thousands of American lives!
Dare we the people demand, and eye for an eye?
As you deal with your shock, pain, and grief,
Resentment, sadness, fear and disbelief,
Don't let them die in vain, don't allow them forgotten,
Pray to your God we find and punish Osama bin Laden.
Amen
With a heavy heart, and every ounce of thought, I dedicate this to the lost lives of people on 4 highjacked planes, The World Trade Center, and the Pentagon who died 9/11/01, as well as their families and loved ones. May God be with you, and heal your pain, as swiftly if not moreso then punishment for this heinous crime, is delivered.
