i personally know two hibs and thats it who use buff bots probably more but only know two, buffbots really piss me off seems to be mainly albs who have them atm noticed two casters with them yesterday (tupp and nomercy? ) of course they couldve been buffed by players then gone solo which is ok... then theres rambo which kindve makes me laugh.. playing an overpowered class that still needs a buffbot :sleeping: then sousi, a mercenary seems to have one too it just takes away any kills you make because you know they are cheated and nearly everyone who uses one seems to make the defense 'but everyone else does too' not that many people actually do ;).... Academy Lord won't waste my time argueing with your post your just an idiot who enjoys flaming by the look of it.. at least get your facts right...

err it was 2.7 wep and i remember the fight i wasnt buffed i dont have access to a buffbot even if i wanted too and well why every single time ive fought rambo he evades most of my attacks and hits alot faster than me and im a luri ;) and the few times ive got him solo/when ive got him in a group he drops 7 buffs roughly... same with sousi :rolleyes:

Get a group ;P

Fought other NSes, trad included. You hit harder and more ofen, your evade rate is better too, so i smell a bot :p

now go look what the starting points for a lurikeen are ;)

our advantage is : pa it and it will drop dead because it has 5 hitpoints :p

There are usually one or two buffbots outside the HBK in the Gorge, i usually try to zerg them and kill them when no hib's come out to play, as of yet i hav'nt killed a buffbot by the HBK, but i have killed a buffbot inside the MPK in emain /flex :)

Hito, i mean compared to other NSes :) I dont try to compare apples and oranges - say SZes and infis :)
And actually pierce is str/dex weapon. Dex is capped for every assasin across board (even norses have 200+) and return from 200+ stat is much lower. So here strength comes into play - you notice a drastic increase in damage even with base str buff which takes it from say 160 to 210.
Actually i ran logs - baseline dex warrants you with approximatly 10% damage increase, while baseline str gives you around 30%. So having dex of 200 and dex of 220 is not much a difference in terms of weapon damage.
So to conclude - maybe its not bot, but rather friendly bard/dru/warden etc, but before throwing accusations of buffbotting, please look at yerself.

Think you'll find these buffbots are either
(a) players either afk or not actually moving at that time or
(b) called Master Eldritch :p

I think there are two buffbots at Druim Ligen (Gorge BK) but if anyone is silly enough to leave them actually outside the keep in Cruachan Gorge then they deserve to have them killed off :p

As for Academy Lord.... well I have a Mentalist, Champion, Nightshade and Eldritch and I admit he's right, I use all of them as buffbots, that's why us Hibs are so oober in emain all the time :D

Hmm, everytime i nuke trad it goes like 250(-250) with my air nukes (spirit)and even if i try ice it goes like 200(-200).Also some wiz friends tell me that they nuke him for average 280(-230).Also a friend scout TS infront of apk and Trad evaded all his attack's critical etc even the damn slam, and killed him evading all his attacks from a distance of 2300 (heavy longbow distance)untill he reached and paed him.Well if this was happening one time in 1-2 days i would accept it,but it happens every damn time we see trad so....:(

And then, and then, Trad turned into this HUGEEE monster bigger than Legion and threw people left and right all over emain with his uber deathclaws and user his laser eyes to 0wnz0r everyone after he insta ae stuns everyone in the zone for thirty minutes.

humdidum, I am a ranger and evaded 2 shots in a row yesterday easily, happens now and then with my own selfbuffs and my stunning 220ish dex i have. I am a celt tho and have waaay under what luris have, even Elfs have more dex than me. And NS have even more. I compared to luons basestats and he have more as a NS at 48 than me selfbuffed at 50. So dont be so surprised he evaded some shots, couple of lvls of dodger and capped dex/qui means a lot of evades, simple as that. Trad is the one with most RP's of all NS and thus can afford more RA's like dodger and more augs, simple as that. Dont forget that assassins are assassins and when assassins are as assassins are today they are horrible, they evade like mad and hit really really hard. Buffs turn them into monsters, unbuffed they just are damn damn damn good.

Tell you what, instead of telling what yer neighbours friends bartender who plays an account on prydwen told you here, get a screenie when Trad is all alone out there and nuke him some and get a screenie of those 250(-250) nukes.

Resistbuffs are on a 10min timer, which means he probably had a group and a group means buffing. Who in hell would bring a bot to Emain and go back every now and then and get new resistbuffs? I wouldnt be arsed to do it anyway, thats for sure ;)

Oh and did you know that if you kill someone you get a lot of messages about the dead persons stats lowering if they was buffed, U know those where Trad's strength fade away, get a screenie of them and then I will say, Ok he uses a bot ;)

psy|:m00: and I always thought Trad was son of the dragon and spammed aoenukes everywhere as soon as he got to 15% health ^^

''but before throwing accusations of buffbotting, please look at yerself.'' it's not an accusation when you see someone solo drop buffs on multiple occasion ... if you see someone steal something are you 'throwing accusations' if you say they did it? get over it i solo'd you and another blue con infil at the same time once a month ago (i had to ip and fa so not that unreasonable) and as i said even if i wanted to be buff botted i wouldn't be able to as i haven't got a second account nor a second computer, howeever if your talking about a fight in the middle of a zerg then i was buffed most likely because i was grouped, and no trad doesn't have a buffbot so drop it im not sticking up for him because hes a hib or whatever if he did have one i simply wouldnt have said anything about it in this thread :rolleyes:
oh and also luon solo'd rambo earlier and he dropped 7 buffs .. how many examples do i need to give?

ignore.. i didnt say luon beat rambo every time he met him.. i was just giving one example.. this was near amg and luons level 48 so not bad going considering rambos buffbotted :) and sko any buffs i drop are from active players in my group and i can be scouting post as many logs or screenshots as you want whether i do or don't drop buffs says nothing and anyone who wont take my word for is isnt worth the hastle

Ok, next time someone manages to kill Trad, count the number of buffs that drop off him. Chances are that you will not find many.

Trad does NOT use a buffbot, he doesn't need one.

He's just a really good player. And if you want to talk about buffbots, just look at your own realmmates. Kill an infiltrator or Alb caster, damn log screen fills up with buffs dropping.

trad is teh gosu(d2 word) ns and he pwns me many time~
and finally ..yes tons of albs have buffbots but 905 of them are ppl who made clerics then when clerics got nerfed to fuck decided to reroll a new char and use there cleric as a buffbot..so blame mythic's nerf of clerics for the now risen amount of buffbots in alb
