Armsman is definately one of the most OP classes in 1v1 fights, really nothing special if some armsman can kill most others solo classes.

Totally agree, a well-specced armsman is almost unkillable for any melee-class once the arms is.. say RR5+

One of the best (if not *the* best) RR5 for melee 1vs1 fights, combined with one of the best 'anytime'-styles, plate armour (which is a plus, no matter what anyone says) and all the heavytanks-goodies (improved resists, making em sturdy against leggies aswell).

Tho I do think Arms deserved some massive love for being less then mediocre for 4 years. Its ironic the best groupability the arms got was by giving pallies celerity

That's not the point. The point is that most seem to nominate their bestest friend or look up the highest RR of that class on duskwave.com.

Some nice fights to be had at times out there, pushing your toon to the max to see what you can kill.
It's still a shame that there is quite a bit of stealther zerging that goes on from middies, but people will play how they want to play. I think I saw 4-5 mid stealthers kill a rr2 and rr3 hib last night . Then I /hug the rr2 caster, and he pbaoe, zaps me down and gives me a /rude :> I suppose I have to accept that I am in the same boat as the rest of us stealther "scum" :>

we all know its like that kiw Its all a big back slaping contest as usual. Thing is you mentioned a lot of classes being easy mode, its the same for all though, every class have something they will be tough against and vice versa. And about dropping ablities i can only speak for myself. No i dont use battler/warlord abilities in every fight. I do use them alot cause soloing comunity have great templates and most i face are higher rr then me. So i use what i can to survive. if i meet lower rrs and use it its a testament to that player being good or have a very good class. I find armsmen/warriors(s/s) and reavers hard cause of my spec a lot of the times. on other hand i have easier classes to meet as well...same for all i would guess.

Banelords does not break stealth as per last patch.

Gotmagi is one though Thane, escpecially since he was unbuffed most of the time and every fight was still pretty even...

Nux on the other hand is the only thane that have ever beaten me - even tho i had everything up! Nerf thanes or shall i w8 with the whine for 1.84 :touch:
