is it wrong that I just like the taste of the meat and don't want it slathered in sauce? I mean I like sauce (oh er!) occasionally on stuff but I also just enjoy the flavour of stuff on its own, simple meals can be (if done well) nicer than all this fancy marinaded stuff.

i rarely eat sauces and if i do its usually not for the meat (if the meat is cooked proper that is)

funny thing is, when it comes to cooking,
it's often suprising how simple complicated is
and how complicated simple can be

It depends very much on the sauce and the amount.

The fancy marination you've had might actually just be "slobbering like a bernard on a piece of meat". Not that you wouldn't have experience with that :D

Right amount of mustard(garlic mustard is a yumbomb) or the right cranberry sauce for the right meat, delish.

Disclaimer: I know i could've, but i didn't go with the whole cranberry meat joke. Too far.

It's fine Ez to just like the meat, but pork/beef ribs are pretty bland on there own.

Can't beat chilli & salt ribs from the chinese!!!1
