I'd say threads in General in general. There's been nothing that I've felt inclined to reply to over the past couple of weeks. I just look out for stuff started by people I like.

In a more conservated way I have to agree with YuckFou. The occassional random line can be funny and might add to a thread, but random drivel posted throughout, and high volumes of it?

I've noticed some forum regulars have stopped posting as frequently and I've been turned away from reading new threads some days because I've had to troll through countless pointless replies and given up.

FreddysHouse is here for everyone and wants to attract new users and this sort of thing won't help.

Well you know how I feel about it. I think the answer lies in the moderators actually moderating with the COC properly. Regardless of what is posted on the forum, if you like it reply if you don't then don't. Ones mans shite is another mans gold, or something like that. You do not need anything else except the COC, the COC should be the bible. It just requires people to uphold it.

At the moment the COC just seems a joke tbh, broken by everyone. Someone has to make a clear decision and stick to it.

As for content, there may be x3 Freddy Users that like to talk about shit all the time, if they do, its their choice and they should be allowed to do so. This includes those that like to converse in l33t speak, it also includes those that just wish to talk normally.

As for people posting shit, its always sorted itself out in the past, people get bored start posting normally again. Look at pirate day for an example. As long as the majority of people are still enjoying posting then who really cares.

At the end of the day, people like posting here, shit threads warts and all, those that dont leave -its a shame, but most come back. But I doubt its ever going to get to the point it has in the Excal Off-topic forum, because there is an air of self-moderation here.

Where did all this "hate" come from?

I rarely check many of the threads on here anymore, because i know its just gonna be full of shitty spammy information. I didnt even bother reading that "badger" thread until i noticed it was locked (I wanted to be suprised as to why it was)

Then all i seen was hate-filled attacks against Drummer, who, only last week was getting on fine with everyone??! Just seems really shitty thats all, i, like Trem, didnt, and still dont have a problem with Drum

Then last week it was the "Trem and Xane" bustup, where both of them "left" the forums, i know Trems back now, but Xane? These "fights" are just coming out of the blue and dont know if its "good" being around here anymore, youre just waiting to see if someones gonna start having a crack at you

Theres only been 1 thread which ive taken a good interest in, for about 2weeks, and that was that Ebay Scam posted about 3days ago.

Other than that, they have been "Shit Threads, with 90% shit posts".

EVERYONE is posting as if they are better than the others. Drum is doing it with those "LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO YOUR OWN COMMUNITY" posts. While I agree that the recent threads have been sub-par (I'm guilty of contributing to this), but the fact is - the threads were never that good. People telling of how their day went, or what they happen to be eating. There's been very little to initiate discussion, and yes, I'd also rather listen to Clowns bullshit than many other peoples - at least his are 'funny'.
