Have you noticed I've only 'come out' in the last week? I'll tell you now, it wasn't for no reason. I keep my normal self for people/places/sections of the forum that deserves it. I've never invaded any of your "Here's one for Throddy" threads before, even though I didn't like it. And then I go and make my own one

I'm not doing it because I honestly find these things interesting. I'm not doing it because I actually want these threads here...

Clown they aint my threads, are they ? A lot of these " a picture of a badger for throdgrain threads" people have posted, Ive not even replied to. But its their business to post it, it is at least reasonably innocuous.
Its a bit late in the day to claim the moral high ground with your "Hay MAte" replies, which help no-one and just seem to be there to make you feel smug. I dont think Ive ever, ever seen a thread with a post from you that was interesting or imformative, so how can you claim a crusade for enlightenment on freddyshouse ? You cant can you ?
If you can show me one post from you that is interesting, shit ,even a post from you that has more than 3 paragraphs, please accept my sincere apologies.

While I agree that the recent threads have been sub-par (I'm guilty of contributing to this), but the fact is - the threads were never that good. People telling of how their day went, or what they happen to be eating. There's been very little to initiate discussion, and yes, I'd also rather listen to Clowns bullshit than many other peoples - at least his are 'funny'.

Yeah, BW actually had good threads, whereas it's difficult to find a decent one at FH.

I do agree with Yuck's sentiment. Posting on BW and FH used to be entertaining and helped me through 8-10 hour days at work.

It isn't entertaining anymore - tbh I only bother clicking either closed threads (I watch cock roach races only to see cock roach accidents. If you catch my drift...) or Tom's thread. He at least makes an effort to start a proper conversation.

And don't blame the mods, really. We are all old enough (except for them fucking annoying eot dimwits...) to excert some sort of self-control when we post. *used to be Jupitus PS bitch. Needs to suck up*

I have NEVER started off a conversational thread, because frankly, I can't. I enjoy reading other people's discussions about topics. These seemed to have run out the past few weeks and replaced with crap. As I said, I'd rather read my own rubbish than anyone elses. My god, even my pisstake thread turned into half a something. You know, the "I don't eat pork" bollocks? WHAT THE HELL. Is this what we want to read? People talking about which meat they talk about?

Crusade of enlightenment? WHO GIVES A TOSS? Which part of my Shut the fuck up post wasn't true? At the end of the day, I was just agreeing with ~YuckFou~. It only happenned to look like some crusade because I've NEVER said anything before. I only used post "Gr8 m8" in the posts that we're tedious/crap/without point. My plan was to spew nonsense until it stopped. But then people started seeing it as some sort of gimmick. WHAT THE..?

As I said... I'm a lurker. I like to read. I won't contribute anything to some crazy discussion about hydrogen and batteries and their effects on the war in Iraq because I can't be bothered to explain and justify my opinions. Go to to the other forums that I post in and you will notice there are far less "Gr8 m8" posts from me.

..I really don't mind tbh, as long are people are communicating here in a sensible fashion that doesn't set out to hen peck people, I will participate if something catches my eye, if it doesn't I leave it. I don't for one minute think that every thread has to be a work of intellectual genius. If you went out today and mowed your lawn, so what? If you went out today won the lottery and got laid by 5 stunning birds while getting your Mercedes waxed, even better!! Fair play....

Although to have this forum peppered with some really good debates is cool tbh.. Its like sitting down with a curry +beer and choosing between Star Wars and The Matrix, sometimes you want a little action other times you want to think a little deeper. To deny one or the other is suicide....

Do you really want to see threads about how people cut their lawn?

While I agree that not every thread has to be a 'work of genius', I do think that there needs to be at least some thought behind a subject, not just 'I went to the shops to buy a tin of beans, but I got a packet of peas instead!' (extreme example I know).

Am I asking too much? And as I can't put anything up myself perhaps I should just shut up

Well in my own defense then, I would say that I thought about that quote I posted, I just liked it and posted. So thought has gone into it but not to such a degree were I elaborated a lot, just a random thought. If someone chooses to participate then they will if they don't, they don't I am totally cool with it.

I've said this else where before, much to the annoyance of a few that read it, but I feel it has merit and fits in with what the whole GSP scene. You can have quality debate on a forum but you must cater for every taste, as long as it doesn't marginalise people (that in essence is what the the COC should do) If you want 'real above par debate' then please think about replying to SAS's news that is posted, its current, up to date, would make the FP look 'used', you would be doing a much needed service for FH and at the same time you can get your above average debate, every time. (should be moded with an iron rule FP stuffs)

A general forum, should fit a general quality of posts. The mistake is thinking its a playground for the few, when it actual fact it should be a gateway for all. Of course now I have given you lengthy feedback, I run the risk of being accused of 'going on' and so there in lies the quandary.

We start back from square one, because in essence noone wants the exact same thing, a forum should be modded as the COC requires but also if we all live and let live, then it would be a much healthier posting environment.
