Yes, but it was hardly accidental, now was it? Regardless, my point was not this actual incident, but the outright hostility of other FH denizens and their pathetic attitude, veiled in the usual fluff and mutual backrubbing, displayed for instance in that particular thread.

As one of the least-liked DAoC players, I went to the last IRL meeting and nobody really said anything nasty to my face...

Actually, now I come to remember ... there were quite a few, "oh, you"'s, and Derric had a go, but I think he was too tired to put any effort in, and Roo grappled me, but appart from that, I got away completely unscathed .

I wub FH the users are funny and brighten up my days when i come on to read new posts, you got all manner of folks here so sure not all of them will get on and yes there is a load of flaming but pffft tbh some of the flames are so funny theyre worth reading by themselves, its a great way to keep up with my old daoc bud's as i no longer play because the game did me head in but still wanted to keep up with the people from there.......... but ofc my totally favourite thing about this place is it has a poke with stick smilie!! \o/

Just wanted to say I totally agree with you. Maybe it's because I've seen many better behaving communities but , I find most of the stuff posted here total crap. Nothing but insults or 1-liners "k m8" or , usually , both. I'm not saying one has to agree with everyone but... it can be done in a more constructive way and respecting others' opinions wouldn't hurt either. If someone says "in my opinion BDs are very hard to play", a sensible reply would be "quite frankly it's the easiest class in the game but , that's just my opinion". Instead there will be rl death threats , referring to the poster's sexuality , or just plain "fo retard".

And before you say this is good behaviour "because it's a gaming forum" , BW daoc section actually used to be excellent shortly after the release. People were giving credit to other players etc. I guess frustration kicked in and it was all about winning.

Anyway , enough ranting. Sorry if I brushed the whole community with the same brush , there are actually constructive and very nice persons here. (Belomar for one)
