And to sum up my 3 days I´ve spent reading theese forums... here´s CoC and some of it even close to "common sense" which seems to be lacking a big base of users.

Respect your fellow forum users. If you want to take issue with what they say then do so by sticking to the point, not by using your well honed skills in 1337 5p34k.

LMAO. Here´s nothing but flaming, random rubbish and about 5 of 100 posts actually "sticks to the point". Tho granted I´ve not seen much "1337 5p34k".

Dont tell people to "Die irl" or "Fuck off and Die of Aids" or anything like that. We've been doing forums for years and we've never seen anything so childishly nasty as this trend. Dont say things to people on this forum that you wouldnt say to their face, and thats not a challenge to the macho arseholes out their to prove themselves. Sin and be banned. If you're nasty and unpleasnt, your not wanted.

It´s nice to see how everyone here respect people opinions and are kind to eachother. Totally within the CoC, yes...

As one of the least-liked DAoC players, I went to the last IRL meeting and nobody really said anything nasty to my face...

Actually, now I come to remember ... there were quite a few, "oh, you"'s, and Derric had a go, but I think he was too tired to put any effort in, and Roo grappled me, but appart from that, I got away completely unscathed .

All in all, I agree with Luz hehe. Shame on you all!

Well dunno bout others on fh, but most the things I say here are things I actually mean, tho sometimes not formulated quite well, and other times misunderstood by some. Irl on the other hand, you will hardly find me telling anyone what I atually think. Cuz most the time people seem to find my opinion crap anyway so I don't bother getting into trouble over it. I had a mate asking me what I thought of his gf the other day after he showed me a pic of some dwarf-like... thing, and replied she looked okay. So that could be another thing, caring bout how people feel irl and not caring that mutch ingame?
Not sure if anything I just said makes sense to anyone but, oh well ...

Most of us are decent folks (many read loads and don't post as much) but if you want info, to gauge how ppl feel about stuff or even whine at GM (we love em really) this is the best place I know to do it...

Yepp, internet allows even a grey mouse to roar like a lion when they can hide safely behind their computer. What they dont realise is that the "mighty" roar mostly sounds like squeak, squeak when others read it on the computer screen. And then the reader ends up classifying the poster as part of the herd of normal spineless humans as we all know that 95% of the readers on a forum wouldnt dare saying it face to face and the other 5% should be in the hospital treated for mental illness.

Hm don't think it would make mutch of a diff for me, as people can't seem to decently call me by either my real name or 'straef'. Then again that's the Netherlands xD

Had Maddude and another daoc player (who doesnt have a full time charecter because he swaps acc's so much) stay at my house for a week not so long ago.

Called Maddude Maddude and the other fella Kigge his proper name. Felt wierd calling Madd his proper name as all the time on Ventrilo etc, he is refered to as Madd or Maddude but the other fella never has a charecter name to stick to
So after first day i just called Madd Maddude was kinda strange yelling it across a club or something though
