First of all a event is fine. Nothing wrong with the event they did this time. The problem is the awards they handed out. And why cant you consider a person you been playing a game with for 1.5 year a friend? If your not able to do so i pitty you.

a couple of totally damn oober items per server is a good idea imo

they degrade anyway, and the dude who got the drop aint gonna be online 24/7, class / realm balancing is an impossible task anyway, why bother trying now? its already shagged, and probably always will be. its not mythics fault, nor goas, or anybody elses. its just a _impossible_ task to please everybody. get over it, play the game and have fun

sometimes you win, sometimes you loose.... sometimes you've get better items / equipment than the opposition and it will be the deciding factor of the fight

its only a game, and a huge part of that game a lot of people find fun is trading / hunting the rare & unique drops. not to be oober, just so they can claim they have it lol.

its a sad fact but its true. so what if 1 guy has a spear which will givf you instant death? go to another place where that dude isnt and fight some else!

Only a game you say? Yes ofcourse - some takes it more seriously than others. The regular gankgroups will farm most of the items, meaning the already powerful groups/individuals will get even better. Tbh, we don't really need a bigger gap between casual gamers and power gamers.

Well, heres an idea...

Give everyone gamemaster accounts, and let us sort our own items out ok? Doing that is only a few centimetres past the incredibly stupidity that has been displayed in this pointless event. I'd be surprised if 1 in 10 people participating in the event had any clue why the mobs are there to begin with anyway, theyre just there to farm items that will mean they can win without any skill at all.
