because he have a spec snare nuke that should work? and because theres ppl that actually wants to use it without having to worry about the snare getting broken by his own pets.

and darkness *is* supposed to be a BD's DPS spec. every other caster have a spec nuke somewhere thats way better then what BD's will ever get.

Yes, but who else has got an insta lifetap and 2 healer pets to go along with their spec nuke?

If they want to use snare nuke, then you have to not use your pets on that target.
If you want to use snare nuke, you can not use a root on that target.

Can theurgs complain that when they got pets on a target their ice snare nuke doesnt work?

It is a stupid complaint. Bd is a pure utility and survival class, not a pure DPS class. If it has as good a nuke as the rest, 2 heal pets, insta lifetap and banelord it gets rediculous.

So, want to use snare nuke and not worry about pets breaking it? Set pets on passive or another target. Problem solved, no need to complain anymore. As normal most the TL reports are crap!.

well he should play smarter then, you don't hear (many) sorc moan about their pets breaking mez. cant BDs just stick them on passive when they snare something (or another target)

A 46 dmg delve insta lifetap on a 8 sec recast? Useful... And it's 80% return aswell! That's like 37 hps right back!

The theurg pets snare aswell.

Did you even read the TL report before starting to whine? The issue was about darkness line, not supp line.

Sorry but BD's do get a healing pet. Most other classes would give their left love spud for a healing pet. I mean if we are going to compare classes and who has what then why shouldnt all pet classes have a healing pet?
A paltry difference in damage value for a single spell is nit picking as far as I can see.
Plus the bonus of an insta uninteruptable lifetap.

Why not just ask for stealth, bolt range AoE mez, AoE disease, weapon styles, large shields, plate armour, det, chambers....

The theurg pets snare aswell.

Only ice pets snare, if you use other pets then that does you no good... and shock horror, most theurg will have used root at some point in a fight (or the sorc in group situation) and the snare is useless anyways at that point.

Yes I did read it and in general, like most TL reports, it was rediculous and unrealistic mainly.
You have access to the other lines still even if you spec darkness. No matter the spec you should have a lot more utility and survivability then say, a wizard. This will be reflected in your spells. If you want to be about dps then pick another class, if you want the pets etc then you have to deal with slightly worse nukes and the fact that the pets will break the snare. Would love unbreakable snare on theur/pets nukes but guess what, thats unrealistic and unbalanced - something TLs seem to not care about..

A controlled pet set on defensive will not break mez. A controlled pet will only break mezz if you command it to attack the target. You don't get sorcs, cabbys, chanters or SMs complaining about pets breaking mezz.

The BD complaint is about the subpets though which you can't control in the same way. To quote the TL:

"They do not assist the commander and will break mez/root."

To put them on passive you have to put the commander on passive.
