true, it is a long trip that most people dont like, but there is a very clear way from snow fortress to pennine mountains. any 25+ char can get there easy, just a case of knowing way, which most dont. hardly anyone enters the black mountains and beyond.

Been saying for ages we need a premium express horse service or an inter-realm portal service that costs 1-5g.

They do make a difference!

When I was a mere level 30 Paladin, I was xping the Faerie Frogs just inside Snowdonia (round the lake by where Cheshire can be found). At that point we had all 3 strength relics and I was soloing orange cons. Then we lost 2 of the strength relics in one night, and the following night I could only manage yellow cons of the Faerie Frogs.

As far as leaving Albion Chodax - here's a little story.

Last night the EC alliance had a hunt where we took Bledmeer & stopped to defend it. After waiting about an hour for the mids to turn up, we defended the keep for about 10 minutes AFTER they had got through the doors. All the Mid attackers were level 50. Only about half of our defending force were 50. We put up a brave fight, but it was level 50s who remained standing to the bitter end and were the last to go down.

Now I know this was a Mid keep, but the same following logic could be applied to ours. The main problem we have in Albion is that when they reach level 50, it seems to me that most Albs lose faith (understandably after reading all these posts!) and either quit for good or go to another realm. Maybe if more level 50s stopped, we would have a better chance at defending keeps. The impact of this could be twofold. Firstly, with more level 50s, lower levels can concentrate more on levelling so that they CAN kick ass in RVR and have more contribution to the war. Secondly, if we had more level 50s to back us up, lower levels would be more inclined to go RVR as we would last longer and not feel like we are just giving the mids/hibs RPs.

Personally, when I get Robyne to lvl 50, I am going to leave her logged in either CS or Excal when playing an alt. That way I am ready for when a call comes to defend/attack.

hehe, I know Rob I was there with my guild The Dragon Senate. The only thing that cost us that fight last night was the merchants taking so long to pop that we couldn't get enough seige weapons going before an awful lot of Mids got through that 2nd door. It was a good old battle at the lord and that is why I play this game, for the moments where a battle could go either way.

/salute to all the Albs and Mids at Bled lastnight and also to Pops of Hibernia who had a very close 1v1 with me and left me with 20hps but 900 extra rps

As i`m normally the 1st to start raving on /as,about keep retakes etc,I feel it is my duty to commend them on the amount of successful Beno/Eras retakes this week.

As most retakes were done at a time when not many members were on,the response and involvement from EC was 2nd to none,
peeps logged in mains to stop xping alts and got together at CS in under 1/2 hour,getting full support from nearly every one in the alliance (some were to low and had no main to help).

All but 2 were successful,and I salute all those who helped,not forgetting regular helpers:- Wawa,Toxwan,Jupitus,Panthera.

The only downside of this is that my dear friend Chodax was not here to witness it,it would have made you proud bud.

I dont think I have ever heard anyone mention an Emain raid or keep defense on the Alliance Line - I'de love to come along but as someone else said earlier many people dont know the way (including me) and probby some are a bit intimidated to ask the big shiny level 50's directions
