To all you thrust users in alb what are your thoughts of it in rvr?

1.The styles do good damage?
2.You get resists a lot?
3.What are the best styles?

I am asking this because the slash resists in rvr lately are becoming a complete load of crap,yes i know slash has nice styles and hits hard still but speed+damage giives more advantage.
I be respeccing to the following ra's:

IP
FA 2
MASTERY OF PAIN 3
DUALIST REFLEXES 3
MASTERY OF PARRYING 1
DODGER 3
AUG DEX 2
AUG QUICK 2
DETERMINATION 2

Should have around evade 4 with capped quick so dragonfang could be pulled off not so hard.Any advice with thrust please answer the 3 questions.No silly replies please i just want people to answer the 3 questions.Thanks.

Dragonfang is nice, the rest of the styles are pretty mediocre except beartooth which isn't much use to a merc ><

According to sousi with dodger 3 i would be fine, he said i should use basilisk fang+peirce and maybe sting or could use dragonfang+ dual shadows back up often which hits hard as a merc...

Also my stats are 218 str 170 dex 166 con 141 quick.

If you use DW styles a lot, Dragonfang would probably be worth it alone going to Thrust. On the other hand, the other styles aren't really any good for a tank (speaking from experience ). Your damage will also suffer in comparison to Slash, I expect.

Wait for a couple of weeks to see which changes Mythic makes to the DW line(if they do). If they make the DW styles better than slash/thrust ones, respeccing to thrust won't be worth it for one style, which is rarely used.

With the evading thing, there're evade-chains in the DW line. Stick one on your quickbar and see how often you use it, that'll give you an idea of how usefull DF will be for you.

The taunt is nice. It has a to-hit bonus.

True, but it also has a medium or large defense penalty (I forget how high exactly) which is kind of a big downfall if you plan to use it as a regular anytime.
