I find it funny that they often use pronouns like their and them for general people but must absolutely use him/his, which makes sentences look shit.

This happened to me using my corporate AMEX card once. I had used it at work to order lunch for my team for some weekend work we were doing. Then due to some screw up on the Grubhub side, they deleted my personal card details, leaving only the corporate card. I wasn't paying attention, so it went on the AMEX. Only noticed when I got a ping from finance department asking me to submit an expense ticket a month later. Honest enough mistake. I paid it off myself, and went on with my life. That said, €300 breakfast?! What is she ordering, croissants covered in gold flakes?

It seems all too common that it isn't the initial mistake that costs them but the lies used to cover up the mistake, just be honest in the first place.

That's always the way it is. But also, if you're going to be corrupt, go big or go home! Why lose your job over 300 measly euros? Make it 300 million, in an offshore bank account, or even better, a cushy job with guaranteed bonuses for 10 years when your political terms are done.

Bloke at work's funeral today, had some flowers made up as a fork lift. Really nice humanist service and she summed him up nicely, he was a man that enjoyed his solitude and his gaming and in the end died how he wanted, peacefully in his sleep. I was actually glad of having steamed up glasses from wearing the mask.
