It's about the world you want to live in. Think of the logical conclusion.

Short term Tesco can beef up security staff. Long term this whole issue stems from inequality and education and all of the knock-on from that.

If this is genuinely a worsening problem (rather than simply a better reported problem or a problem of increasing snowflakification (bar the violent altercations)) then CCTV is a sticking plaster when the answer is to get at the root cause of the issue and do the hard work to transform our society and economy into one that doesn't pump out boatloads of chavs.

No, i dont think the problem is changing so much as new technology has come along to help protect people from whats always been happening. So why wouldnt you?

In your anti surveillance tin foil hatted world i can see why you would’t. But for those in the real world They have obviously made different choices. And your argument was on the escalation or the more frequent issues. Which i said i dont believe was accurate and theirs no documentation provided by you to back that up.

so the question was on the basis that what you said wasnt true why would you not wear and camera if it made you feel safer ? Obviously you never would except when you want to hare down a mountain.

If there is a threat or medical emergency they would land at the closest available airport with facilities to cope (aircraft type etc.) They would have contacted ATC and been directed to VNO. Guessing the timing of the emergency was crucial to their plans to nab him. Seems to have been a well planned operation.

To be honest Europe and the US need to stand up to these fuckers. However they've rightly calculated that they can get away with pretty much anything since Putin annexed parts of Georgia and Crimea and the West did nothing of consequence.

Time to shut their money off. Freeze their mates' assets. Stop anyone connected with these criminals from entering any EU countries, the UK, US, anywhere they like to spend their money. Make them all pariahs.

Putin mightn't care if he's banned from travelling to a country, but his rich mates who support him would soon get pissed off at having their wealth removed from their control.

Also probably the best way to harden the resolve of a country; look at Putin with all the years of economic penalties, his support hasn't really diminished and that popular support is probably more important than the support of the oligarchs, and let's face it, Putin controls them too.
