You said blackhole not wormhole. Two completely different things.

I thought they were created in the same way and were somewhat interchangeable, or basically that the theory was/is that a black hole could be a wormhole. Got it.

Worm-holes are science fiction. While technically Einstein's equations of gravity could allow them they are impossible to be created.

Black-holes are science fact. You go in, you don't come out, not ever.

Sub-atomic bits of you might come out again:

Don't suspect the resultant headache will be much fun though.

Incorrect. That proposed mechanism, its unproven, is similar to Hawking Radiation. Both are ways to extra energy from a black-hole but without any matter escaping from inside. This is all closely related to the black-hole quantum information paradox which is a discussion you do not want to have as that will give you a headache for a completely different reason.

Hence the "might" qualifier in my original comment.

Although funny you mention the Black Hole Quantum Information Paradox, some boffins sound quite convinced they've solved it....

If they're correct I was slightly wrong - all of you would eventually come back out again, but not necessarily in the same order you went in.

Quite concerning that, even though I haven't studied Astrophysics for 20 years, the terms in that article make more sense to me than even the simplest Insurance based task the wife does at work.

Even the article says they don't know how it'll solve the paradox they are just hopeful it will. Others have said the same before :) In fact some physicists contradict those exact boffins -

General rule is that you never lose energy its just transformed from one state to another. Logically the atoms should come out somewhere but no one has worked it out. That the gist?

That would be a wormhole, no energy or matter escapes a black hole.

Not quite. It's not just about energy. Quantum mechanics says there are some fundamental properties (information) that cannot be destroyed such as electric charge, mass, angular momentum etc. What comes out of a black-hole via Hawking Radiation is thermal radiation which has none of those properties. So the paradox is that eventually a black-hole will evaporate but all the quantum information about everything that fell into it is somehow lost.

It'll be on a thumb drive somewhere tbh.

So black holes have free will.

how can a man who chose to play rugby, who was aware of the physicality of the game. Turn around to the guys who make the rules and say you made my head bad.

a; they didnt have the studies to prove anything. And 8 players could be a coincidence. I would say its statistically nothing compared to all those who play.

b; they didnt force him the play

i can see they would campaign to get different playing or practice regulations now.

but for the past. Thats pushing it.

Oooooooh!

We’re often told that the only way to raise serious tax revenue is from income tax, national insurance contributions, or VAT. This simply isn’t the case, so it is a political choice where to get the money from, if and when there are tax rises

Really interested to see what the court says on this one, as I can see both sides of the argument. I expect it to become class action at some point. Some of the stories, like Alix Pophams, are really tragic.

You can't do class action lawsuits in the UK.
