Here are the correct answers ;)

Cyclists = We are awesome.
Lawn mowing = Twice a week during summer. Less as the seasons move on.
Brexit = Irish lineage, out of here if it goes to crap.
Trump = Oompa loompa, doom-pa-dee-do
Transexuals = Be truthful to yourself first. Tolerance towards others

I loathe this word and its use.
I dont know i like it when my tolerance for alcohol is lower as a good night is cheaper. And its important for people to tolerate each other. If we dont it would be carnage.

I must say, I always invert my controls, or it just feels weird.
Only on 3d games, right?

I think it's flight sim related myself. I reckon people who never played a flight sim with a joystick never invert.

Inverted is default on consoles for games like COD I think? Been a while so not 100% sure.

No. It's more complicated than that. It's like the experiments that have been done where they make people wear googles that flip everything they see upside down. After a week or so the subjects are moving around normally, can ride a bike, drive a car etc. Experiments like that and this observation about controllers implies that the brains wiring when it comes to visualisation and hand-eye control doesn't depend that much on vertical orientation.

You get this effect when you steer a boat with a tiller, it fucks your brain for 5 seconds then it becomes more natural.

Its always been pretty simple to me, if you are holding a mounted gun then you lift the back up to point the barrel down, push it down to raise the barrel, left = right etc. The pivot point in a game being the barrier between you and the game, the character. Even with a hand held gun, if you want to aim upwards then you tilt your head back, your head becomes the pivot point.

Same with an Air plane, you pull the stick back to adjust the pivot point, being the wings, to pull up, push forward to descend.

Anyway, the answer is pivot points :)

I've never inverted controls, even though I've used joysticks a lot in the past. I think its because I'm left-handed and I just shrug and get on with the stupid ergonomicly backward world we have to live in (I use my mouse right handed as well).

I think FH is a very non tolerant place...
Really? All the raging arguments and outright fighting and yet the only person who gets regular short bans is an outright racist and tin-foil hatter, and that's generally to give the rest of us a breather.

Intolerance would be bans for life. Yet we keep coming back even when we dislike some things.

FH is tolerant. The wankers who rage quit because they didn't like the opinions they were reading are the intolerant ones - they *had* to have the world reflect their views and wouldn't put up with stuff they didn't like - so left.

They're the no-platforming wankers - they de-platformed everyone on FH so they could seek out an echo chamber.

Yet here we are. Fighting like cats.

Brilliant :D

I think suggesting that I can't do my job properly because of your perception on my views on things is pretty intolerant.

No. It's called having an opinion you disagree with and having hurt feelings.

Noone ever called for your removal as a teacher.

Toleration does not mean agreement.
