Daft. Reminds me of the protesters that recently stopped a man from being deported on a flight home, they caused so much disruption the flight got grounded with the deportee on - what the silly fuckers didn't realise was the man was a gang rapist.

Edit: Somalian whose deportation was blocked by furious plane passengers was gang rapist

That one. It's great that these people think they're doing good but unless you're 100% crystal clear you know the person being deported, you should just keep your nose out quite frankly, you could be aiding a criminal.

That pretty well sums up liberal simplistic thought, they run on emotion and then accuse conservatives of being reactionary and populist.

Sinn Fein? Far from it. Don't look at the presidential election as having any political meaning; it's literally a popularity contest for a powerless head of state. Everyone knew from the start that Michael D was going to walk away with re-election and his political background is the Labour Party who currently only have 4% voter share and were more or less wiped out in the last general election (they went from 30-something seats to just seven). It also doesn't help that the Sinn Fein candidate is a vegan loony.

lol :)

People in "didn't check out how far it was to local amenities before deciding where to buy, and are now moaning"-shocker?

@dysfunction - this is why I don't read much news ;)

There is lots of truth in the article, but there's also lies - '30 min round trip to buy milk' - bollocks, there's a huge Tesco here (once the biggest in Europe) and a small sainsburies in the new part.

However, apart from that there is fuck all, it's literally just hundreds of houses.

The red circle was the size of the estate about 10 years ago, and the black is the new estate.

Whilst I appreciate we need new housing, the way that they're going about it right now is stupid.

The bit on the right isn't finished and I used to walk through those fields to school, there's some 6-7 bedroom houses out there with nice views into the (not going to be much longer) country side, however there was a marshy part and that's where all the affordable houses are conveniently placed.

Jesus those rabbit warren estates, they have them all over the countryside.
You need a fucking sat nav to find youre way out, they seriously need exit signs painted on the road.
Thetes one by us with Columbine road in it of all names and the feckin road is everywhere..it goes up to 160, winding in and out of side roads.
You have to get half the estate out to work out where No92 is.

There's just no way the owner wasn't on it - it's famously how he left every home game.

This is happening near us as well. After sitting on land during the crash developers are going hell for leather building massive estates across the greenbelt around Dublin, but there seems to be no attempt to consider public transport, amenities or even schools. And these aren't cheap houses; you won't get a new three bed around here for less than half a million euro and a four bed (with a tiny postage stamp garden) will cost 750k. And amenities or not, people are buying them because the housing supply has been non-existent for a decade.

It was a pretty shit ruling I agree.

Shouldn't be a case of blasphemy, should be a case of getting support through chatting shit and producing hate.

What do most working class people hate? Paedophiles.

So if we link this religion we don't really understand and scared of to paedophiles then we'll gain support, yey!

Sure, if it was an educational seminar exploring the history of Mo' then that's fine, but it's not, it's a seminar of hate.

I think this is why it's important to try and do as much as possible to stop hate, and have more open and real conversations about Islam.

Bloody baked beans. I love em, but they don't just make you fart. I was just about to leave the house, and Mr Poo wants to make an appointment with the porcelain telephone. :poop:. Again.

"In the tweet above, a German analyst points out that Bayer’s Monsanto aquisition may have precipitated the largest destruction of market capitalization in German stock market history, standing at about 57.7 billion Euros in losses thus far."

That's many many monies.

Jesus. That is stupid.
What's stupid about it?

If they've found in court that glyphosate has caused cancer and that monsanto tried to cover it up, then they're guilty and culpable.

Anyway, there'll probably be another appeal. Only superior court judge - so she's effectively kicking it up a level.

Good for him an all, but this is not science..it is a lawyer wankfest.

There is no evidence whatsoever, but put $$$$ in front of lawyers and they could convince a judge and jury that the word binoculars causes cancer.
