You can only surmise based on what's been presented in the press, but if a girl who had a boyfriend went to some other guy's house willingly, drank a load of alcohol and started to engage in sexual activity, then it does not appear based on what we know to be out and out murder. It's very tragic and I do think he's lucky not to be charged with murder, but we can only presume due to a lack of available information that the evidence must have presented no struggle, no forced strangulation and no evidence on his intent to kill her.

People die all the time from kinky sex games, we're only hearing about this because a) it involved porn which is demonised in current affairs by the Tories and b) it was a pretty white girl.

Did you read the article..he got her drunk..smothered and strangled her...made up some bullshit story of a sex game..had tried it before...the judge said he gave her no option..she was murdered by a deranged , murderous sex pervert.
6 years in jail...he should be in a secure unit for his entire life.

Always did. When I lived in central London in the 90s (W1) there was a huge garden square I could see from my flat, was never allowed in it though - homeowners only. London's always had loads of spaces like that.

I suppose the difference now is that those gardens never appeared to be public space whereas now you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Public space and Pseudo public private space - except the Pseudo public space would probably be better looked after!

Its big in Germany already, been in finland some time too, here companies can request a doctors note if you are off work for more than 2 days straight, but company has to pay for it, this is cheaper and stops people with flu from wandering around infecting people just to get a piece of paper telling them to rest for a week
