Sounds like a single loon tbh, not something Trump's wall would prevent.

The guy walked into probably the best defended building in America, pointed a gun at a cop (inflicting a "non serious" injury) and promptly got shot.

Shit.

You actually get a bricked villa 'there' for the same amount you get a three room apartment in Stockholm. The latest development takes the cake, as some newly built apartments goes for roughly 300k quid, that is a 45 square meter apartment. Just getting ridiculous.

Nice pads, except the one I posted is only 15 miles from a city, but of course supply and demand an all, if everyone wanted to move to here, the prices would rocket.
But still...London...fucking crazy.

Jesus fuck, watching homes under the hammer, a tatty one bedroom flat in a 60s council block went for 450k,
There is a madness at play in the big city.

This is what you could buy, near us in a really upmarket area for 450k

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-52644877.html

Looking at large houses in places you can afford but don't want to live is the road to madness. I do it all the time just to torture myself:
Kilpatrick Glebe, Crossabeg, Wexford MyHome.ie Residential
Actually commutable. If I completely lost my mind.

I honestly wake up in the middle of the night screaming at the thought of the pure horror going on down south, millions of tortured souls stood on railway platforms at 5am, with 3 hour commutes to work, getting home at 9pm, saying good night to the kids, watching two hours tv, then collapsing in bed.
100 quid left over each month after paying the mortgage and lying in dread of a rate rise.

Just found out my brother is moving out of London to Nottingham; my first reaction was madness, then I realised he doesn't really have to live in London and he'll probably pocket about 800 grand from the sale of his house.

Considering buying a rental property in Toton, Nottingham. HS2 is going to go through there - which will make Toton a realistic part of London commuter-belt territory.

This is silver lining for Londoners without a doubt, my cousin did the same, from a flat in london to a huge converted barn in devon.

Whom else than a fucking Brit (assuming he is) will go and take a selfie with an alleged suicide-bomber on a hijacked plane. You are such fucking show-offs.

I've got to admit, I thought it was awesome.

I also loved the comment from the security chief at Larnaca, "He's not a terrorist, he's an idiot".

you dont have to work in london to live in the south

My commute is 12 miles or 20 mins in rush hour traffic.

The Thames Valley houses much of the IT company head quarters in the UK and is still more expensive than up north but i have a 3 bed terrace for about 320k. It was 80k when i bought it though hehe.

I leave for work at 8:30 and am usually home before 5 when i cant work from home. And its so much more accessible to the continent and the major airports.
