Matter of taste really, with same principle you could say a tattoo, dying your hair, cutting short hair as a girl, wearing jeans etc makes you an asshole. He's harming noone except himself, so it's kind of his call since we're free to use our lives as we see fit.

His "taste" puts me off my lunch. So yeah, he's an arsehole. Sure there are lines, and those lines move over time, but that's not the main problem here; this fails at a basic hygiene level, which is why its so dumb.

After body modifications, much like at the start with tattoos, you're not dealing with basic hygiene anymore, but it doesn't mean it's not possible. I'm sure this guy needs to spend an hour or two more on hygiene to maintain status quo, but again isn't that his time to spend?

Ofcourse the guy could be a total asshat with problems the size of a supersized twinkie, but we can't tell that from pictures alone. I understand why some people feel it's disgusting(etc) and judge based on his effect on their nausea levels(etc), but it doesn't necessarily influence the personality.

As a small point which usually is good to say; i'm not saying you can't call him an assclown, or anything else, that's your choice to make. I just disagree on personality judgement by looks.
