from anywhere providing it doesnt exceed 220mil tons (to give you a rough idea 220,000,000 tons of rubbish was what the USA was producing per year around 2003-2004) its also more enviromentally friendly than recycling believe it or not due to the energy used to power recycling facilities etc! also land fills are an amazing source of energy themselves as they generally produce methane gas which can be used to power homes.

so why is the gov so hell bent on us recycling? because its £££££££££ for them so remember for the next time you get into a recycling/landfill arguement! a 35 mile landfill 100 yards deep could take 220,000,000 tons of rubbish for 1000 years and its better for the enviroment + gov funding than recycling.
