Does anyone actually believe this? If whats thrown out is largely basics like bread, milk eggs etc. how do they arrive at £60 a month or 15 a week - thats more than we spend on those basics a week tbh?

I'm sure people chuck some food but throwing the equivalent of 15 loaves of bread away each week? I don't buy it - this piece of exaggeration is another attempt to nudge the masses and also to blame on them the excesses of capitalism.
