I see US cops have now managed to kill a guy with downs in a movie theatre because he wouldnt leave..ok he was putting up a hell of a fight..but ffs they could see he was downs and they just sat on him till he died of aphxsyiation.

Yeah i am because he's trying to twist my words. Has nothing to do with peoples illnesses and not saying you can't kill yourself, just that i don't have any respect for it.

By his logic i could ask if he respects paedophiles because that's an illness.

I am not twisting your words, i am trying to understand why someone who is the victim of serious mental health problems would garner your disrespect. Do you think a same person takes their own life? People who actually commit suicide are affected by a serious mental illness. They are as much at the mercy if thier illness as a cancer sufferer, without help they die.

What, exactly, illicits this contempt you have for suicide victims?

Well it's not disrespect, it's lack of it. Its not contempt either. Cancers etc have nothing to do with it, it's a choice, you choose to end your life(i respect the freedom of choice to do so btw).

I choose not to hold any value in it, sympathy or otherwise. They're not victims.

We're not talking about loonie people jumping off roofs 'cause they think they're an albatross btw.

Of course they do - lots of people with terminal or degenerative diseases do so.

VErsion of court contempt, so depending in the state makes a criminal case against him or a civil case.

Considering the circumstances i'd believe they go with a fine as it makes the state more money then imprisonment.
