An eagle wouldnt be so stupid to pick something up it couldnt carry away, and that baby is probably more fluffy coats and scarves than human, by volume, hence less dense than the average beastie the eagle would hijack normally.

I'm not sure tbh - they do take small dogs and its not much of a leap from small dog to baby.

When it takes the baby I would expect a downbeat of the wings to power it up - it wouldnt be possible from a stalled swoop.

Meh, I took it to mean if 3d printing is coming along at such pace that records are soon going to be possible, then much better stuff can't be so far behind.
