Meh, my chair cost about £50 two years ago and it structurally fine and very comfortable, even over long periods of time. The material is a bit frayed but it's overall it's OK. I am thinking of replacing it though (due to the material) and I was looking at those chairs from Viking.

It's the arse padding that matters to me, have some nerve damage in lower back so I need something soft and supportive to sit on. Too many of the cheapo chairs use low density foam and it just doesn't hold under extensive use.

Seems almost identical to the £130 chair in Staples, is often on offer for £65 as well which is when I bought mine.

Actually scrap that last bit. How do you get someone who suffers from paranoid delusions to the extent where they think any doctor/psychiatrist/counselor is part of a conspiracy against them to get professional medical help?

How do you get someone sectioned?

If you're reading this on FH, you already are, or should be
If you're reading this on the moon, (a) what internet service provider are you using, and (b) what's it like masturbating in zero-G, and how fast will your silly string shoot out?

He thinks doctors are against him, or when we help him book appointments he'll lie about it and not go. He seems to want help; rang me earlier saying he's been stalking one of our friends (he was) and he's going over the edge and needs help, but when it actually comes down to it he backs out and disappears for a bit.

Pirate Enclave Network Interstellar Service and at same speed, just floats around longer. Great distance though.

Lets start with the disclaimer, you are seeking medical advice in a thread entitled "random spam" on an internet forum. For serious advice try: http://www.mind.org.uk/help/i_know_someone_with_a_mental_health_problem

How do you get someone sectioned?

You need to demonstrate they are a danger to themselves or others. A doctor can find out what's wrong with them but a police officer can section someone.

Actually scrap that last bit. How do you get someone who suffers from paranoid delusions to the extent where they think any doctor/psychiatrist/counselor is part of a conspiracy against them to get professional medical help?

This is very difficult unless as said before they are a danger to themselves or others. You may see them as a friend needing help but whats to say they haven't just become a bit of a twat? People change and you can't always get the person you knew back. I would start with the stalking, that kind of behaviour is something the police will listen to, even just the threat of reporting him might be enough to get him to actually seek help.

That looks pretty good.

Its ambitious but I can't help thinking its going to flop. Looks a bit like The Fountain, which I watched with part of me wanting to applaud the director's vision, and another part of me thinking, "God, this is boring".

Looks really good and they have a history of pretty alright films.

The Fountain I found myself to watch it for the sake of listening to the music.

I am using this one at the moment, loads better than the last cheapy I had...

Comfy too, padding is nice and thick which I need due to my back problems.
We've got the Rome's in our office, perfectly comfortable, arms get in the way a bit but otherwise fine.

They have a history of one good film, one great film, and several turkeys.

I've started taking the arms off my chairs (no, not due to my circumference). Feels much better to me now. I suppose the next step is one of those weird kneeling chairs 0o
