I was not privy to the "8 minutes of pleading", but the anti-establisher in me is going with the driver following company orders, eg no pay-no ride. for better or worse, I believe it's unfair to question the driver's -perhaps- lack of humanity in this case. I wonder how many people he sees on a late night run that are "only a little short" for their ticket.

Either way, you can't blame the guy for it at all, or put any blame on him what so ever, as if he didn't feel bad enough as it was, I blame what she had for lunch, because it took longer, and therefore was in the path of her attacker, yano - endless possibilities, but blame the next person.
