You know that bag of rice you can get which you stick in the microwave for 2mins and it's done. I've been having a domestic, you must be able to put more then one bag in at a time and just increase cooking time by like 30 seconds or so. Or is there some magical reason one bag is the only way to get perfectly cooked rice?

Why not just biol rice like a normal person, it's cheaper and not difficult.

Yes we all know if you want proper rice do it properly with proper rice, but 2 minutes in the microwave is so easy

The whole point is you don't boil it, it's in a microwave

Rice is rice is rice when its late and you're tired & hungry and just want something to go with the left over chilli without any fuss.

No, you rip the bag open a couple of cm, stick it in the microwave for 2minutes and then it's done.

i see, i didnt know that existed. try sticking the bag in a bowl of water and then put it in the microwave and see if it makes a difference.

The bag is plastic, puting it in water will do nothing. You tear a little of top off and nuke it for 2mins

I can cook pretty much anything to an excellent standard but I can't do rice. I just use microwave rice.

If you need to do a large amount, just put normal rice from a big packet into a bowl of boiling water, cover it, and whack it in the microwave for 12-14 mins.
