But maybe when the other kids were showing their wounds and screaming in pain, erm, perhaps you would have second thoughts? - or do we really live in such a sheepish world

So, right, you're 12, and your teacher tolds you to put your hand in a fire and hold it there as long as possible, you're going to do it?

You've never heard of dry ice before, you've held ice before, you trust your teacher as he(and all others before him)has never lied to you previously and wouldn't want you hurt and he tells you that you probably won't get blisters.

Yeah I'll be doing that now too tbh, laughing his fucking arse off at children who have potentially disabled the use of their hands through a teachers negligence is beyond ridiculous.

Ah...the inexorable march of old age and the sometimes annoyingly blissful feeling of sleep seeping into the bones...

When I was 20 I could stay up 20 hours. Now I'm yawning at 9pm

I used to hate the Birmingham accent. Now I like it. Had a work lunch today with three Brummies. Very down to earth. One of them kept calling me "kid". I didn't mind. They paid for lunch :p

I can handle any accent nowadays. Even Essex. With one exception: Cockney. Something about it really winds me up. Never used to, but now.....*shudders*

When I was twenty it wasn't uncommon for me to go two nights without any sleep at all. If I want to I can still push it qiute hard, but not as much anymore. I'm seriously dreading being old. Especially with my knees.

So far tonight I've listened to Springsteen's "Born to run" album two and a half times while playing madden then watched the first part of Band of Brothers for the first time. Now for a curry chip. Not a bad night :D

Wow, how did you manage to get footage of my Polish neighbours driving around the communal car park in their beat up Euro shitheaps?
