Well, getting caught is like getting caught for shootiong anyone really.

But with no evidence, except ofcourse your(and the guys) prints on the gun, you shooting the gun and only other witness being dead, how would it be handled?

Because honestly, would some jury believe that the guy was threatening to shoot you?
