I have 0 sympathy for this view.

Speaking of the NHS - £2.8bn was paid out last year on compensation, £2.8bn that could go on stuff to stop the compensation happening in the first place.
Yes indeed, the £2.8bn they paid in compo could well have saved many many lives.

Sorry, but this is sensationalist, I'd wager the 'slappers pretending to be depressed so they can get free boob jobs' contributes very little to the wastage, it's like blaming people on universal credit for government expenditure.

I'm excited to see the outcome of the Tory-Covid-NHS corruption tbh.

Obviously not on their own, like I said :p it all adds up though across the board with other people abusing it for other stuff.

And yes - like Michelle Mone and her crook husband + others.

It's not even just that tbh, the NHS is being abused from top to bottom, from top end staff having massive paydays despite clear mismanagement to regular patients taking the piss with services, like slappers pretending to be depressed so they can get free boob jobs etc on the NHS.

Grand scheme of things it may not seem like a lot but it all adds up.
10% of the NHS's budget is spent treating diabetes, a largely preventable disease.

It seems they've landed twice more and have done slightly larger and higher loops.

It'd be much more honest if Boris' Brexit bus had said they were going to deport the obese* and save us 1.5 million / hour - or over £250 million a week ;)

Lets hope Labour actually implement a proper sugar tax and have a proper crackdown on food companies. Ever since the 1980's we've been absolutely fucked.

People still wouldn't have listened :p they had doctors and people that ran the NHS telling them that the money Boris was promising from Brexit wouldn't even keep the NHS running for 48 hours - they still didn't listen though.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the rise in no effort AI narrated Youtube videos over the last year or so? there are sooooo many of them now, zero effort, clickbait thumbnails and likely copying info from wikipedia or some other source..

I first noticed them approx 5 years back. Generally movie "reviews" or plot explanation at first, then it seeped into other areas.

I suppose as the tools got easier, so did the pseudo-automation of these things, and pumping them out there.

You mostly get two choices these days, it's those you've described or videos where the content is so thin it repeats itself to make it past the mid-roll advert length

I'm now at that age and time of life when I am starting to enjoy working in the garden

(no, I haven't started listening to Radio 4, wearing beige, or fearing winter yet)

I meant to do some work today. Just 15 minutes in the garden won't hurt will it ? Then off to work.
Four hours later and I was still happily gardening and on my umpteenth cup of tea.

I'll go to work tomorrow...

Mrs : Darling ?
Me: Yes dear ?
Mrs: A nice man from Amazon delivered a package for you. It might be that Radio Four beige scarf you ordered

Strange that to get the best score is complete luck, but 2nd can be pretty difficult.

I'm sure there was a reason to keep having COP in large Oil producing nations, although this shouldn't be one of them:

I've come to the conclusion of fuck climate change, its clear we don't give a fuck and the token money going towards it is kinda pointless, seems more sensible to ramp it up and let people suffer and hopefully they'll start to see past the climate change denial.

Gave up replacing knackered keys on my trusty old Razor Huntsman and bought one of these.

Excellent.

Seen those before. Basically impossible to buy in Ireland. Their direct site only ships to four or five mainland Europe countries (and only takes PayPal, which I won't touch anyway) and Scan won't deliver outside the UK. Seems to come and go on Amazon but hasn't been available for ages.

I have a Corsair K70 that looks nice enough, even though some of the keys are stuck on a particular colour. But I used to have a cheap £10 Logitech keyboard that I could type perfectly on until I spilled a drink on it, and I don't half miss it. There's a lot to be said for membrane keyboards.

Bought Jedi Survivor (loved the previous game). 30 minutes later and I'm searching online for a new gfx card lol. I guess my GTX970 isn't up to scratch. I'm looking at maybe an AMD Radeon RX 7600, is that any good?

I will add, after some more use.

They keyboard is solid, great to use, keys are excellent.

The wheel add-on doesn't seem to do anything that makes it worth having as an add-on, it does media controls, and that is about it. It appears that it is supposed to do much more, but is cursed with bugged software, the wheel is supposed to do all sorts, but mine is stuck as either volume control or a clock, but cannot be both. The numpad could also connect better, if you pick the keyboard up, it falls off.

While a fantastic keyboard, the modular system seems to be there for the reason of having a modular system, it could have been much better as a solid non-modular keyboard.

Also, I reckon they blew at least 20% of the budget on packaging, it's spectacular in its waste, seems a shame to throw it away.

Also, because I tripped up on it, it has to run through USB3, it temporarily bricks as soon as the software loads if it plugged into a normal USB socket.

If typing on it wasn't so good I would probably return it.

Saw Book of Mormon again on Saturday.

Not sure I've laughed that much since I saw it the first time. If you like South Park and get a chance to go see, fucking take it, you won't be disappointed.

Nah, because all the billionaires are putting their money on Elon the Mighty building a magical space rocket so they can all fuck off to another "Earth" before it goes tits up finally here. We really should start boiling the fuckers alive tbh.
