Benefit of where I live. Two F14's flew directly over my house at what felt like 100 feet yesterday and some big transport plane has been making runs that I can see from the back garden - about 20m lower down than us and about 50m away in a straight line :)

Apparently it was a flyover of three Typhoons for the Euro women's cup.

Looked like the 15's that @Embattle posted. They can traverse in and out of the mach loop down the conwy valley then up to capel curig, over tryfan then off to valley :)

Yeah. The government has no idea this is going on and definitely investigates this shit / wants to put a stop to it. Riiiight.

Like Thatcher's minister who instructed the SAS that "none of the terrorists survived" the Iran Embassy siege. One of the gunmen was in the queue of people being evacuated from the embassy when he was spotted by an SAS agent, who duly dragged him out of line, got him on his knees and was about to pop a cap in his head when another SAS guy pointed out the TV helicopter.

Queue hilarious recollections on panorama as he laughingly told the story...
