For the LGBT community I actually think these sort of things does more harm than good.

Why is it important for me to know your sexual orientation when we are doing shop? If you do a good job, then why would I care that you were born a man and identify as a woman, or that you're a dude who likes kissing other dudes? I obviously have to respect it, and I do(honestly couldn't care less, my new boss is a lesbian), but I fail to see why the company needs to get involved with the sexual orientation of the staff. What it should worry about, is to not hire ignorant unprofessional people who cannot function in a team because someone is into same sex sex.

At the same time, if someone dyed their hair blue and walked around like that, they'd be notified by HR that they were breaking the dress code. Just because you're transgender, gay or something else) doesn't give you carte blanche on a professional level

The problem is that Muslim kids grow up in Muslim families teaching them that in their religion homosexuality isn't acceptable, but kids who aren't indoctrinated at a young age don't see race/religion/gender etc, depending on what they're exposed to.

Unfortunately they live in a society where we do accept homosexuality, and The Government has directed schools to have a drive of promoting 'British Values' which whilst some are nonsense, the main one (which most people can agree on, apart from Job) is that we should accept everyone for who they are.

Another contradiction from Job though - he states that he doesn't like it when Lefties start protesting because it makes us look weak, but then complains when they don't protest against Muslims

Why do they have to shout about it. I work for a big corporate american tech based company and have worked with many gay people and one that transitioned. No one made a big fuss just carried on and did the work. Who gives a fuck how you dress or who you fuck as long as you do the job.

The ETSC plans will still not be able to stop the bad drivers, with many still not able to understand you can be under the speed limit but be going too fast for the conditions and then there are those who don't pay attention for one reason or another but no problem we can always take another step along the nanny state route to try and counter it.

At first it seems like it'll be introduced with the ability to turn it off after you startup, much like those annoying stop/start systems on some cars that reset back to on each time the car gets turned off and after a few years I guess it'll just be on although I suspect a good year for sales before it happens
