You're going to call me a fairy for saying it - but Tories, again. Obvs.Had to go into town this morning. Real eye opener the amount of homeless people in doorways. Gave an old boy selling big issue a tenner and ignored the rest but fucks sake are there not hostels they can go to?!
I've never actually seen anyone give paper money to a homeless person. I've seen 50p or £1 thrown in their general direction, occasionally...Hardly worth it if people keep giving them tenners in the street.

Both you and Raven are using poetic license, beggars do very well, especially ones with puppies, that's why they are there.
in a day , 20K people will pass a beggar in a busy street, if 0.1% give them a quid, there's £200 a day.
You could stay in a hotel every night.
Just had a buffet at work, plates were made out of banana leaves that had been moulded then dried. Brilliant idea.
Ive always said its a mental health issue and because I say it can be a nice little earner doesnt mean that I think they are all scammers.Once again you demonstrate you know fuck all. While the Daily Express may consider all rough sleepers to be professional beggars (which you obviously believe), the real story is that most rough sleepers have a wide range of needs that aren't catered for by our government - mental illness ranking very high on the chart.
Rough sleepers and complex needs | Crisis | Together we will end homelessness
But obviously you've fallen for the tabloid headlines. You probably also believe that benefit scroungers cost our country more than tax evaders.
Juvenile American Robin apparently.that isn't a Robin.
Not keen on the new Guardian branding; it’s very “generic newspaper site”. The old identity was much more distinctive.
