The curry powders from the spice souk are amazing. Always taking back loads for friends whenever we travel back to UK.

So, am in Amsterdam at the moment in preparation for a meeting, after shenanigans last week with my brakes (and the 350 quid bill that ensued), I get to the airport nice and early, get on my flight and feel smug. Then get to the hotel to find our Dutch receptionist had cocked up the hotel reservation and booked me in the night before.

Not only that but they were fully booked, as were all the hotels near the airport. Go on Booking, nearest hotel is either in the City Centre or a 70 Euro Uber away.

So I'm currently in a coffee shop. Which is nice.
