Gove is done for thankfully. May is an evil bitch who needs to fuck off into the night. The other 3 are largely unknown.

Least shit, again.

British politics is broken.

So he stuffed Boris in a way I can't even begin to understand..I'm standing so you can't?
Obviously more to this than that, not a single person seems to be questioning that Boris 'had' to stand down, he was the dead on favourite, so a vote of no confidence from Gove would be a gnats bolok to him.
All a big deal to let Boris in later after the fan has run out of shit.

Yet, despite being horrific, would be less terrible than Gove, who has consistently fucked up every government department he's run.

For me the risk>reward ratio of doing that simply isn't worth it.

Bristol boy airgun shooting: Man pleads guilty to GBH - BBC News

I don't get this at all. GBH for shooting a baby in the head with an air rifle?! Surely it should be attempted murder, or in the very least attempted man slaughter.

Now I know all rifles aren't the same and using mine for reference, it shoots a .22 lead pellet at 495 feet per second. The baby is very lucky to be alive.

isn't there a story about some dude having saved his whole life to buy a Winnebago only to trash it because he turned on the cruise control and went in the back to make himself a cup of coffee? it veered off the road and totaled itself. maybe it's a Snopes thing. edit: yes, very old one too!

If memory serves he successfully sued the manufacturer and won $5m. Just goes to show that stupidity does pay!

Genuinely don't mean to sound pedantic, but English politics is broken.

So are Scottish to be fair, a nationalist protest party that can promise and claim all they like without ever having to deal with the consequences gains power on a mandate of misrepresentation. The SNP gained power, largely based on lies and half truths, such as income that was never there (Oil revenue)

You're wrong though.

The SNP have done an amazing job governing Scotland according to Scottish people I know.

It's not good for the union since they're so Scotland-centric, but is the union old hat now?

I think the referendum vs general election shows that - everyone who votes for UKIP will vote for Leave, however not all SNP voters voted leave (on indyref)

They have done an amazing job with financial and physical backing from the UK.

It would be a very different story if they had voted out.

We do pay towards Scotland, but we get an awful lot back, I would say losing Scotland would be worse than splitting from the EU.
Were the fuck would we park our Nukes for a start.

Well let's see.

I really don't like this borderline patronising stance of "everyone's fucked without England".

Well, I think there's a difference between running a country and the deal that Scotland currently has.

I think for the good of Scotland an indyref should have two referendums - one with almost immediate effect, and then give further and further devolution to Scotland, then give Scotland another 'are you sure?' referendum.

I don't mean it like that. Its just a lot of what they were saying pre-indi vote was based on oil prices, which promptly fell off a cliff globally.

There are only 5 million people in Scotland, I am unsure how they could continue with things like the NHS and whatnot without sharing the cost, especially when most of the population is in fairly small areas.

I think it's time to recognise that Scotland wants to go a totally different direction from England and Wales, we're very different nations now and that's been cemented in the past few years.

I think it's well recognised that the figures were incredibly optimistic, but bear in mind they were loaded to make it look better rather than status quo.

The NHS in general is on the slide. I don't see how it can last in or out of the union.

The uk has been going for devolved power for a long time now. The eu is centralising power and taking more away. So to me it was logical that both states could not exist in harmony.

I think more devolved power to scotland and making sure scots cant vote on england only laws is the way to go now.
