I think most people in the UK are wary of jews, they tend to live in groups, even asked the London council to build a wall around a jewish area in London, complete with jewish guards on entrances, orthodox are plain crackers, practising jews are a bit full of themselves, a LOT more racist than us, but they, re allowed to be because...you know the holocaust.

No Job, you're wrong, we're talking about Israel, not Jews.

People like you are the problem, flagging up stuff like this which is totally irrelevant, you're the reason why we can't move on.

Mind you, it's useful having you here, it reminds me why we can't get over pathetic issues, because we have small minded people on the planet. :)

Actually, in this case Job has a point. Orthodox Jews are part of the Israel problem, not because they're Israeli, but because they're Orthodox Jews. I see nothing wrong with pointing that out. Its not their race, its just another belief system and not worthy of special consideration.

Just arguing that point with Gwad.

However, Job is only making that point by accident - he's actually coming from the standpoint of all jews are bastards...

This is a problem of jewish making tho - they've done their level best to tie their religion and state together - so when you criticise the state they level antisemitism at you. Which is, ofc, bullshit...

No.

But if you point out that Israel is a Jewish nation and then you criticise it, you recieve a negative response.

So the problem should be addressed as Israel is a secular nation (which it technically is iirc?) and then criticise it, if the debate is approached in that matter, all the Zionists can't pipe up with BUT HOLOCAUST.

Whilst it may be perceived as beating around the bush to get a problem sorted and people may still call holocaust at it, it's better than directly blaming Jews.

We're criticising a State here, we're not criticising a religion, unfortunately, since Israel is the only Jewish (Secular) state, they're representing Judaism, but again, that isn't my true belief, much like ISIS isn't representing Islam.

The problem is we notice more extreme jews that the majority who don' t give a shit, arent pressurised by family not marry gentiles or get a middle class job.
Settlers, orthodox, those completely nutty ones who wear a giant fur hat.
I had an orthodox jew step right out in front of me in Manchester, slammed on in my jeep and missed him by 6 inches, he just calmly kept going, talking in a shop later a guy told me they all do that around here, they trust god not to let a gentile kill them.

It's got very little bearing on a discussion of the purportedly secular state of Israel that @Job - other than it shows there's another group of people you hate, because = different...

Everyone ties themselves in knots to "not be anti-Semitic" when criticising Israel and Israel itself is happy to encourage that, but it's bollocks. If Israel was a genuinely secular state that happened to have a majority Jewish population, but it's just not true; look at the makeup of the ruling coalition; Likud as split down the middle between secularists and hard line Zionists, and then three of the four other parties in the coalition are ultra hard-line orthodox parties. So 75% of the rulers of the country are making decisions based on religious, not secular, policy. On that basis there's every justification for criticising them for their religious views.

Twas discussing this with Scouse earlier (We love our Juda- Israel bashing sessions.)

My point being, as a Secular state you are making bad decisions, they can't call 'anti-Semitism' then because then they'll have to get rid of their secular title (which the UN wants them to have btw. very much very very very much.)

So my point being, I am criticising Israel as a nation, whilst in the back of my head I am aware of Orthodox Jews being a problem due to their religious indoctrination, I don't mention it, because we need to tackle the problem at hand rather than chilling until the hangover has been cured.

I dont mind different, its the 'we are more special than you' brigade, which includes most religions, snobs and grammar nazis.
Livingstons suspension is just another example of the thought police, the process from outburst to everyones mock horror has long lost its impact as people tire of witch hunts, the internet seems to have given the ability offence to trump reasoned debate.

If you select less than 100 items in a folder, it tells you the size of all the items selected. But if you select 101 or more, the size stops displaying.

Why ffs?

Lets be honest @Lamp. This was all a photoshopped excuse to show your eclectic musical taste.

Pet Shop Boys, Rage Against The Machine, Sisters Of Mercy and Rachmaninoff, all against a natural snow-vista background?

Pretend I've bothered to arrange my desktop to be almost identical, but with an additional baby-smooth hand in view, then laugh both knowingly and ironically...

Yes yes now answer my question or I'm going to smother you in semi-melted Rolo's and let twelve sex starved octogenarian nuns lick the goo off you.

Yep. I'm in.

It doesn't conjure up amazing physical pictures but not many humans would ever have felt that, so I'll grin and bear it.
