So, The Weekly Telegraph is an edition that they make for expats or for people outside of the UK who still want to receive The Telegraph. They've just announced that they're not going to produce it any more so I've subscribed my mum to the Telegraph Android app instead. Her one comment so far... "but I can't use it as fire-lighters when I've read it".

So sugar tax is here, can't find a single mention anywhere about diet drinks, are they automatically exempt, will there be legislation to stop manufacturers just sticking their price up as well to match sugared drinks.

yes because making sure people are less educated is a great plan
what is needed is not a cut back of education, but an acceptance that pushing methods of learning which lead only to regurgitation of facts without any understanding is not helping anyone
90% of all studying is learning how to learn, which sounds absurd but once you know how to learn new things in a topic it becomes very easy to pick up new or improve on current skills
