I've skied the Bellecombe black run in Les Deux Alpes, it's brutally steep and difficult even in good conditions. Looks like they've skied it when the run was shut and there were avalanche warnings in place - very stupid and suicidal. Paid the price.

I think there's a lawsuit on the horizon. It's a difficult run for an experienced skier, but they took a bunch of schoolkids on a closed black run when during high risk avalanche conditions?
