There is a difference. At the moment they are trying to predict whats happening and using best current science to do it. However the past they are just analysing the effects to the world for those periods and best guessing the causes.Funny that you listen to the scientists unequivocally about the Ice Ages and old climate change variations but refuse to listen to them about todays changes eh? Especially when they're not saying the ice ages and warm periods didn't happen but that it's the current pace of change that matters...
So its not that something isnt changing its the cause i dispute. I think that its more of a natural variation of climate and sun cycles with a small human push, very small, than the human cost of modernity in total.
