I'm obviously not a dirty minded as you lot, cos it just looks like some bird rubbing another bird's neck to me. :(

I wanna see Vaginas where there aren't any too dammit!

I live in Holland Park, west London

My wife bought a huge bag of bird seed and has been feeding them for the past year. We haven't really had a large variety of birds. The usual song birds / doves etc. Saw a bird of prey once - it was massive! really huge - but it flew off before we could ID it. She's much more interested in it than me, but today's woodpecker was nice eye candy

Strange, I live in Leicester - East midlands - Wonder if they're coming over to the UK in mass, as we've never seen them before?

I'm sure there's some hxc bird watchers already on the case :p

Could be changes in climate? Changes in food sources?

I don't know. I'm no bird migration expert. Perhaps email Springwatch or something.

aye, that he is

The BBC put The Goodies on over Xmas. Painful. So unfunny and so dated. I'm a big fan of 70s comedy, but the Goodies is just so not funny. I dunno. Maybe its just me and everyone else in the world finds them hilarious.

BBC are slacking tbh - Only good comedy thing they actually put on is Nvm the buzzcocks, Frankie Boyle's last night was hilarious, and i've fallen in love with Noel Fielding, I never liked him before...

If you like Noel Fielding's humour, then you HAVE to watch the Mighty Boosh (3 series, available from the usual sources)

Just stay the hell away from his stand up, it's the most dire shit I've ever seen.

Saying that - I watched his stand up on Michael McIntyre's comedy roadshow, and I didn't think it was that funny, it was random as fuck, but I didn't like it really, just things that he comes out with randomly are hilarious.

Especially after McIntyre, not really my taste either.

Hell, McIntyres intro was funnier just because it's...well...him!

I don't mind Michael M...he seems to me always in the middle of hyperactivity & collapsing in a fat puddle of sweat...he's a great crowd pleaser....a great warm up man, but I honestly couldn't watch him for an hour....20 mins tops

Gimme Billy Connolly all day long. Legend.

Actually the Goodies was cutting edge satire in it's day, and it's
nostalgia value is priceless, but as with all cutting edge comedy, 30 years is going to make it look a bit pointless.

Ah but the best comedy is timeless, avoiding cultural references for the most part. Cue the Monty Python films being funny, particularly Holy Grail & Life of Brian - historical satire is much easier to keep out of the comedy fridge.

I enjoyed the Goodies 20 years ago but itis a bit dodgy nowadays - fair play to them for being funny at the time.

I think Fawlty Towers will still be funny in another 30 years. I still laugh at Laurel & Hardy. Hancock. Steptoe & Son, I@m Sorry I Haven't a Clue (Radio 4 - Humphrey Lyttelton - any of you lot heard of him - v funny and a quality musician - RIP), Blackadder 2 (ok, not quite in the same vein, not utterly classic, but still very amusing jokes)

I'm reminded of Tim Minchens "storm".

Firing of cliches with starteling precision
Like a sniper using bu*lshit for ammunition
