Sounds like sky is trying it's level best to not abide by the court's blocking orders then. The court order must specify exactly what URL's to use - and must omit SSL secured links.

I know virgin are fully behind the blocking - so unencrypted or SSL gets blocked. As are many proxies and proxy hosts. But they're still trivial to get around.

Still - sky fighting it a bit is good news

I am on BT, if they block one it takes around 30 seconds to find another proxy.

Complete waste of time trying to fight piracy with futile attempts to block content. They should do more on demand stuff, instant release. It really is the only way they will start to stop piracy.

I've already covered why their manifesto is implicitly racist. The racism is not very well hidden at all - and remember - it's a criminal offence in this country to be openly racist.

(Which is another reason why freedom of speech laws should be strengthened and hate speech law abolished - open racism from the idiots who support UKIP would pretty much make it unelectable - but it's got the perfect motivator for hiding it's racism - open racism will land them in jail).

Well I was born and bred in England. It has plenty of faults but I call myself English. My passport says I'm British. I support the England Rugby team, I cheer when they score. I have some national pride when we do well, the way we staged the Olympics for example. I also think that people (parents) who have paid in to a system all their lives should then get first choice, not someone who popped over a few months ago because our system is better than theirs. I don't think that makes me an idiot, but thanks for your opinion.
