Which wont be a problem at all in 10 years when every home has a 3D printer and cheap materials.

I am toying with the idea of pushing for one at work, we could fabricate some parts with it.

The bit that holds the screen on the transmitter for my drone is 3d-printed (also another bit that holds the GoPro steady when it's in the case in transit). It's a bit rough around the edges but it does what it's supposed to very well.
